CHRISTINA BAKOPOULOU

Pharmacist (MPharm, MSc), Cosmetic Scientist, and Founder & Scientific Director of Chris Bacco Cosmetic Laboratory, with more than 18 years of multidisciplinary experience across cosmetic and pharmaceutical sciences, R&D, product development, Regulatory Affairs, cosmetic safety assessment, quality management and manufacturing.She leads an independent ISO-certified cosmetic laboratory, providing end-to-end scientific support from formulation and product innovation through safety assessment, regulatory compliance, QA/QC, manufacturing readiness and market launch. Her work encompasses cosmetic R&D, botanical extracts and advanced delivery systems, PIF and CPSR preparation, CPNP notification, scientific consulting, and the implementation of an Integrated Management System incorporating ISO 22716, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.Her background combines pharmaceutical QA/QC and Regulatory Affairs, academic research and professional education. She holds an MSc in Bioethics and is currently undertaking the International Master in Fragrance Formulations (IMFF), expanding her scientific and practical expertise in fragrance formulation, perfumery, olfactory science, toxicology and fragrance regulatory affairs.Her work bridges science, innovation, regulatory compliance and product development across cosmetics and fragrance.
